Ad Operations Technical Support Consultant

Main purpose of the job

The SpaceStation is looking for a technical support consultant to join our Ad Operations Team. You have an enquiring mind and love to find solutions to problems! Every day will bring new challenges as you provide support to our ad operations team around digital display advertising campaign delivery issues, site migrations and site tagging. You will also work closely with our product and development teams in testing, implementing and troubleshooting innovative ad serving solutions.

While this role requires a strong understanding of html, javascript and CSS, kindly note this is not a developer position.

Job Outputs

  • Troubleshoot video player, mobile web, app and desktop ad serving implementations and delivery issues
  • Provide technical support to our ad operations teams
  • Document solutions and workflows
  • Communicate technical issues (both verbal and written) in a manner that is easy for a non-technical audience to understand
  • Support project managers, product owners, developers and design teams with the technical implementation of new advertising product offerings
  • Manage and maintain excellent relationships with all our stakeholders, which includes campaign managers, publishers, sales and development teams
  • Keep abreast with international developments in the digital advertising ecosystem

Skills and competencies

  • A well-rounded knowledge of the digital advertising technology landscape
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Team player able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.

Qualifications and experience

  • HTML5, CSS, Javascript or related web design qualification
  • Experience in front end web development or as a site webmaster
  • Experience working in a QA/ troubleshooting/ support environment
  • Experience working with Content Management (CMS) systems
  • Experience/ knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem, including Doubleclick for Publishers, AppNexus and data management platforms would be highly advantageous
